Virginia vs Georgia Tech -3 O/U 47

Ever ask the popular saying, what have you done for me lately?   Well, it is common in today’s society, but it certainly applies to sports as well.   Georgia Tech started the season off rough having to play The Mighty Mighty Clems and the Fighting Lane Kiffens, but since their loss to a solid UCF team, they went to Pittsburgh and won outright, followed by a nice win vs the Duke boys.   Virginia on the other hand has been a dumpster fire.   They Cavs are 2-4 with their only wins vs Richmond, and Old Dominion by two points.   Somehow this team covered vs Syracuse but they faltered bad at Duke and home vs Louisville, losing by double digits.  Both teams are equal in yards per play and EPA margin, but I like the fact that Tech is on the way up while Virginia is faltering.   According to Sagarin’s “recent” rankings, he has Georgia Tech by 6 points on a neutral which puts them at 8 or 9 points in Hot-Lanta.  Both teams are off the bye here so no advantage for either of them, but Georgia Tech is sniffing a bowl game in their future.

Georgia Tech -3 – 2 stars

Kiev O'Neil: 20+ years of sports betting experience. Podcast host since 2017. College Football since 2019 412-367-27 UP 58.7U NFL since 2018 249-228-16 up 40U UFC since 2019 82-74-5 up 34.1U I do not necessarily look at myself as being a so called “sharp” sports bettor. Instead I like to think of myself as a great compiler of information who specializes in the Big 10, but also handicaps all NFL, NCAA football, UFC, Basketball, Horse Racing and more! I encourage people to specialize in a conference or division that will help give them the greatest edge in their sports wagers. I am never against a person betting against their favorite teams when the situation is right.
