  • Northern Illinois out-gained Central Michigan 506 to 447 yet lost 37-31.  A 3-0 turnover ratio and snow hurt the Huskies.
  • Wisconsin out-gained Indiana 344 to 261 yet lost 20-14.   A 2-0 turnover ratio and horrible QB play killed the Badgers.
  • Wake Forest out-gained Duke 400-267 yet lost 24-21.  Equal turnovers at 2 but bad red zone efficiency got the Deacons.
  • Rutgers out-gained Ohio State 361 to 328 yet lost 35-16.  Equal turnovers at 1 but bad red zone efficiency got the Scarlet Knights.
  • Notre Dame out-gained Clemson 329 to 285 yet lost 31-24.  A 3-2 turnover ratio did in the Irishman.
  • Cincinnati out-gained UCF 515 to 393 yet lost 28-26.  A 2-0 turnover ratio did in the Bearcats.
  • SMU out-gained Rice 484 to 290 yet only won 36-31.  They won the turnover battle 3-1 but bad efficiency hurt the spread.
  • Miami out-gained NC State 292 to 231 yet lost 20-6.  A 4-2 turnover ratio and horrible red zone efficiency caused a hurricane.
  • UTEP out-gained Western Kentucky 368 to 280 yet lost 21-13.  Bad 3rd down efficiency at 3 for 13 killed the Miners.
