North Texas vs Villanova -6 O/U 126
I really do not understand why this spread is so low. North Texas is a solid team and all, but their win vs Purdue was more about Purdue missing most of their shots than North Texas being a great basketball team. Conference USA is a bit over-rated in my opinion and I think that their schools are more comparable to the Ohio Valley in skill level. North Texas turns the ball over 19.9% of the time while Villanova is second best in the league at 13.2%. I think that the coaching factor with Jay Write vs Grant McCasland is worth a few points to line as well. I am going to lay the points here with Nova.

Rutgers vs Houston -8 O/U 132
Houston is a very good team that plays great defense and they are coming into this game after blowing out Cleveland State. Rutgers has some talent and is pretty good all around. The only knock on Houston is that they don’t shoot the ball that well at only 51.4% effective FG and coming out of that conference, it should have been better. Rutgers isn’t a good shooting team either at 50% effective FG but at least they played in the Big 10 conference. Rutgers will most likely slow this game down and I think it could be close at the end. Grab the points.
