Wisconsin vs Northwestern +2.5 O/U 140
This is gonna to be a good game to watch between two teams fighting for position in the Big 10. Wisconsin is that team that has surprised everyone this year with more of an offensive focus rather than a slow methodical game. Part of that reason is that they have the height to rebound some of their misses, and of course, they have the 7th ranked player in the nation in Johnny Davis who averages over 21 points per game. Northwestern on the other hand is a better team than they were last year, and that huge win vs Michigan State really proves it, but now they are in a bit of a grand salami sandwich spot here between State and Purdue. Northwestern has looked good partly because of their schedule strength ranking 106th in the nation and 354th in non-conference. Wisconsin’s schedule ranks 5th in the nation and 87th in the non-conference. Both teams are great at not turning the ball over, but Northwestern has not been a good home team only ranking 335th on Haslametrics at home, and 0-4 ATS in their last four home games. Wisconsin is 4-0 in their last four games as a favorite and 6-0 their last six. The Badgers are 5-0-1 in their last six games vs the Wildcats. Lastly, Northwestern’s best player in Pete Nance is a game-time decision and he is trending more as an OUT with an ankle sprain that hindered him out last game. I have to go with Bucky here as the short favorite.
Wisconsin -2.5 – 2 stars
Bonus Play: Bellarmine -7.5 – 1.5 stars. Their stats are skewed some due to the fact that they were missing Ethan Claycomb for about 6 games. North Alabama is terrible and are in the bottom 340 in offensive efficiency. They also rank top 65 in pace. This means that they play fast meaning that they lose even faster.
