College Football Week 11 Misleading Final Scores

  • West Virginia out-gained Kansas State 345 to 299 yet lost 34-17.  A 3-0 turnover ratio and bad 3rd down efficiency got them.
  • Coastal Carolina out-gained Georgia State 442 to 373 yet lost 42-40.  2-0 turnover ratio and 4 sacks hurt them.
  • Minnesota out-gained Iowa 409 to 277 yet lost 27-22.  They also won the turnover battle 1-0 but I will say that Iowa gave up a huge play to get the score closer.
  • Charlotte out-gained Louisiana Tech 548 to 504 yet lost 43-32.  Equal turnover but bad field position got Charlotte.
  • Troy out-gained Louisiana 391 to 370 yet lost 35-21.  A 3-0 turnover ratio got them.
  • NC State out-gained Wake Forest 482 to 406 yet lost 45-42.   Equal turnovers and horrible 3/14 3rd down efficiency got them.
  • LSU Out-gained Arkansas 308 to 283 yet lost 16-13.  A 3-0 turnover ratio and bad 3rd down efficiency got them.
  • Texas out-gained Kansas 574 to 420 yet lost 57-56.  A 4-0 turnover ratio did them in.   Kansas goes over their win total.

Kiev O'Neil: 20+ years of sports betting experience. Podcast host since 2017. College Football since 2019 412-367-27 UP 58.7U NFL since 2018 249-228-16 up 40U UFC since 2019 82-74-5 up 34.1U I do not necessarily look at myself as being a so called “sharp” sports bettor. Instead I like to think of myself as a great compiler of information who specializes in the Big 10, but also handicaps all NFL, NCAA football, UFC, Basketball, Horse Racing and more! I encourage people to specialize in a conference or division that will help give them the greatest edge in their sports wagers. I am never against a person betting against their favorite teams when the situation is right.
