College Football Week 12 Misleading Final Scores

Ball State out-gained Buffalo 520 to 470 yet lost 48-51.  They won the turnover battle 3-1, but poor coaching, field position and defense was the reason for the choke.  Mike Neu has been fired.

UCLA out-gained Washington 319 to 305 yet lost 31-19.   Equal turnovers at 2 but 6 sacks and 9 penalties got the Bruins.  Also bad red zone efficiency.

Arizona only out-gained Houston 337 to 326 yet won 27-3.   Terrible red zone efficiency got the Cougs.   Also a 3-1 turnover ratio.

Pitt out-gained Clemson 438 to 346 yet lost 24-20.   A 2-1 turnover ratio and 13 penalties got the Panthers.

Coastal Carolina out-gained Marshall 391 to 254 yet lost 31-19.  A 3-1 turnover ratio got the roosters.

LSU out-gained Florida 392 to 339 yet lost 27-16.  A 1-0 turnover ratio and terrible red zone efficiency and bad special teams got the Tigers.

Georgia State out-gained Arkansas State 411 to 358 yet lost 27-20.   A 2-0 turnover ratio did in the Panthers.

Maryland out-gained Rutgers 457 to 370 yet lost 31-17.   A 1-0 turnover ratio, and terrible red zone stepped on the Terps.

Kansas State’s Yards were mainly garbage time.

San Jose State out-gained Boise State 483 to 456 yet lost 42-21.   A 4-1 turnover ratio and terrible coaching and play calling got the Spartans and my bets.

Iowa State only out-gained Cincinnati 386 to 353 yet won 34-17.  Equal turnover at 1 but 13 penalties got the Bear Cats.

BYU out-gained Kansas 354 to 242 yet lost 17-13.  A 2-0 turnover ratio and poor third down 3/10 got the Cougs.
