College Football Week 2 Betting Spots

Major Injuries:

  • Jaxson Smith-Ngigba left the Notre Dame game after a hard hit.   He looks ok though but might miss a week.
  • Liberty QB Charlie Brewer broken hand.  Out 6-8 weeks.
  • Texas Tech Tyler Shough to miss at least 2 weeks with a shoulder injury.

Let Down Spots:

  • Syracuse is in a let down spot at UCONN after beating Louisville as a dog.
  • Florida is in a let down spot vs Kentucky after beating Utah as a dog.
  • Old Dominion is in a let down spot vs East Carolina after beating Virginia Tech outright.

Get Up Spots:

  • It’s too early for most of this but any team that lost needs to step it up.
  • Illinois in a revenge spot vs Virginia.   Plus their QB Tommy Devito just saw his ex-team beat the crap out of Louisville.
  • Northwestern has a revenge game vs Duke and 2 weeks of rest.
  • Tennessee has a road revenge game at Pittsburgh.

Look ahead spots:

  • Nebraska looking past Georgia Southern to Oklahoma is possible.
  • Cal Looking past UNLV to Notre Dame is game.
  • Texas A&M looking past Appalachian State to Miami is possible.
  • Miami looking past Southern miss to Texas A&M is certainly possible.
  • Fresno State looking past Oregon State to USC is possible.
