College Football Week 2 Misleading Final Scores

349
  • Northwestern out-gained Duke 511 to 473 and lost 31-23.   A 3-1 turnover ratio killed them.
  • Wisconsin out-gained Washington State 401 to 253.   Horrible 3rd down efficiency at 2/11 done them in.  Also, 11 penalties and both teams had 3 turnovers.
  • Texas Tech out-gained Houston 472 to 352 yet only won by 3 in overtime.   A 3-2 turnover ratio didn’t help them much.
  • West Virginia out-gained Kansas 505 to 419 yet lost 55-42.  A 2-0 turnover ratio killed them.
  • Fresno State out-gained Oregon State 492 to 397 yet lost 35-32. No turnovers but bad red zone efficiency and special teams play hurt them.

Kiev O'Neil: 20+ years of sports betting experience. Podcast host since 2017. College Football since 2019 412-367-27 UP 58.7U NFL since 2018 249-228-16 up 40U UFC since 2019 82-74-5 up 34.1U I do not necessarily look at myself as being a so called “sharp” sports bettor. Instead I like to think of myself as a great compiler of information who specializes in the Big 10, but also handicaps all NFL, NCAA football, UFC, Basketball, Horse Racing and more! I encourage people to specialize in a conference or division that will help give them the greatest edge in their sports wagers. I am never against a person betting against their favorite teams when the situation is right.
