- Big one. Nevada out-gained Georgia Southern 498 to 285 yet lost 20-17. A 1-0 turnover ratio and 14 penalties killed the Wolf-Pack
- Louisiana Monroe only out-gained UAB 296 to 259 yet won 32-6. A 3-0 turnover ratio killed the Blazers.
- Central Michigan out-gained FIU 369 to 309 yet lost 52-16. A massive 6-0 turnover ratio did in the Chippewas.
- East Carolina out-gained old dominion 466 to 287 yet only won 20-14. A 4-2 turnover ratio made it a close game.
- UMASS out-gained Toledo 384 to 258 yet lost 38-23. Poor red zone defense and a 1-0 turnover ratio burned the Minutemen.
- Arkansas out-gained Oklahoma State 648 to 385 yet lost 39-31 in overtime. A 3-1 turnover ratio, poor officiating and bad fourth down efficiency got the Hogs and my +7.5.
- Tulane out-gained Kansas State 491 to 396 yet lost 34-27. A 2-0 turnover ratio including a fumble six got the Green Wave.
