The Nationals are a team that we did not predict to struggle like this. They are currently 3-6 and have gotten roughed up in some of their losses. But I am here to tell you not to worry. All six of their losses have come to teams who are expected to make playoffs, and two of those teams are poised to win the World Series. This is a golden opportunity for Washington to rack up wins against a bland Arizona team. The Diamondbacks best hitters are left handed hitters, Kole Calhoun, David Peralta, and yes Ketel Marte is a switch hitter but he is a better hitter on the left side. This is a game for Patrick Corbin to rebound. This year Arizona has been able to record 11 home runs and 35 RBIs in 12 games against right handed pitching. Against left handed pitching the numbers are substantially low, in 10 games they only have 3 home runs and 17 RBIs. Washington should be able to sweep Arizona in this home series.
