The Yale Bulldogs and Siena Saints meet tonight at the Times Union Center. The Bulldogs will look to bounce back from a 36 points loss to an underrated Seton Hall team and improve their 2-1 record while the Saints are still looking for their first win of the season after losing to St Bonaventure and Delaware by at least 20 points in each game. Yale is averaging 74.3 points on 43.7 percent shooting and is only allowing 64.3 points on 38.3 percent shooting on defense. The Siena Saints are averaging just 55 points on 37.1 percent shooting and allowing 79 points on 52.6 percent shooting. The Bulldogs are 16-7 ATS in their last 23 road games while the Saints are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 home games and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. In what should be a slow paced game, Yale should have the edge on both offense and defense against a Siena squad that has looked awful at both ends of the court through two games and, other than the Seton Hall game, the Bulldogs have more than held their own through three games, especially on the defensive side, and they’ve had great covering success on the road dating back to last season.
