The Boston Red Sox meet the Tampa Bay Rays tonight for the final game of their three-game set at Tropicana Field.  Right-hander Nick Pivetta will be the starter for the Red Sox. He owns a 8-4 record and posts a 4.51 ERA and 1.34 WHIP across 107.2 innings pitched.  Pivetta has pitched better on the road earning a 1.16 WHIP but does have a higher xFIP (4.17) than his ERA (3.21).  Rookie lefty Shane McClanahan gets the nod for the Rays. He owns a 4-4 record and 3.93 ERA and 1.31 WHIP over 71 innings pitched. The rookie owns a high .345 BABIP which should lower over the 2nd half of the season.  Does that start tonight?  Tampa comes into the series finale with a top 10 wOBA (.332) in the past month and a top 10 wRC+ (116) the past 7 days.  Boston’s potent lineups has earned a top 5 ISO (.183) and batting average (.256) this season but has been struggling in the past month ranking in the bottom 3rd of the league in wOBA (.310) and wRC+ (80).  Additionally, Tampa leads the majors with 196 runs scored after the 7th inning and have a bullpen that has a 1.34 ERA across 80.2 innings in the past 20 games.  The Rays are also 26-8 at home since May 13th and 29-17 against the competitive AL East this season.  In the past 22 games, Tampa Bay is 16-6 with 35 homeruns while averaging 5.8 runs per game and have scored 30 runs in the past 3 games.  Take the Rays -122

This play was sent out to clients last night before the line moved but it looks to be around -165 so if I had to play it now at that line I would lean to the runline.
