Red Sox vs Brewers -120
The mighty mighty Red Sox have had a decent start at 11-10, but strangely enough in the AL East, that lands them in last place thus far. Garrett Whitlock takes the helm today and my has he been roughed up so far. Whitlock has a 5.42 FIP with only 7.5 K/9 innings. Last year he was more solid when not injured, but I do not think he has found his groove. The Brew Crew have Wade Miley starting for them who is off to a fantastic start with a 3.17 FIP and a 1.5 ERA over 18 innings. Wade wasn’t a bad pitcher last year either having a 3.95 FIP and a 3.16 ERA. I think that both teams are over-achieving some, but the Brewers are even better than some of their numbers state being that they have had the 3rd hardest schedule thus far on Team Rankings. I also like the fact that the Brewers have a more rested Bullpen being that they were off on Thursday while the Red Sox had a break since April 7th. Take the crew to win.
