Rays vs Red Sox +125 O/U 9
This has the makings of a fun game in Boston. The Red Sox are dogs to the team with the best record in baseball, but how sustainable is Tampa’s record when they had a pretty easy schedule thus far. Either way, I am looking more at the total for this one. Tyler Glasnow is pitching for the Rays who hasn’t had much action since 2021 due to injuries. This could blow up on him easily. Garrett Whitlock takes the helm for the Red Sox and he hasn’t been all that good at all with a 5.14 ERA and a 5.53 FIP. Both of these bullpens rank in the bottom nine in FIP. The winner of this game will have to put a bunch of runs on the board. This is quite ok for the Rays being that they are the number one team in weighted runs created (wRC+) while the Red Sox are number nine. Both teams are top three in Runs per game. Lastly, these are the top two overs teams in the league both going over their total at a 61%+ clip. Take the over today in Boston.
