It’s a beautiful day in Boston with a nice 77 degree temperature and no rain. The Royals visit the Red Sox with both teams trying to stay relevant. Royals Ace Seth Lugo takes the mound with a huge 2.21 ERA and a 2.7 WAR. He faces Kutter Crawford with a pretty good 3.2 ERA and a 2.0 WAR. The wind is blowing out over the green monster. Crawford’s fly ball percentage is a high 47.8% while Lugo’s is a low 36.9%. Both teams rank pretty closely in hitting off righties. The Red sox certainly get the Bullpen nod as they rank in the top and the Royals are below average in that department, but why even get them involved?
