The Cubs have been faltering once again and now they need to prevent the sweep at home. Cubs ace Shota Imanaga takes the helm against Brandon Pfaadt. Pfaadt is also a young pitcher who is improving, but he still is only at a 3.97 ERA to Imanaga at 2.97. As bad as the Cubs bullpen is, it is still better than the Diamondbacks ranking 17th in FIP to 26th for the snakes. The wind today is blowing to the 3rd base foul territory so it should not factor in much this game. Both of these teams are close enough in hitting where the Diamondbacks rank 4th in wRC+ to the Cubs at 6th. I think that the Cubs get through the 1st 5 innings leading the way. Take the Cubbies.
