Some interesting line movement on this game as money is coming to the over as we get closer to game time yet total came down from 229 open to 228.5. That has me worried about the over on the game and the 228.5 is right at the season average between these two in Minnesota. Perhaps the Quant/ numbers guys simply hit that open because of that average. I like Memphis in this one as I think they have nothing to lose here but I prefer to look at the total because I think this care-free attitude will lend to them pushing offensively.
We know Minnesota can score and defense is not their strength but what I like are the trends for both to the 1Q over on the season and in this series. 1Q average for the season series is at 62, 59 in games in MIN. I’ll take the chance with both teams getting out quick!
