The Kings 1H line didn’t come out as planned so we’ll make our modifications below. Someone in the market must be reading our emails…
Nets/Blazers under 220 (-110), to win 1.5 units
The Nets will be extremely happy to face Portland just because of their pace. The Kings went up and down the floor and blitzed Brooklyn at every turn with their explosive offense. Portland may win but they don’t play that way. Portland is 29th and the Nets are 28th overall in pace over the last 2 weeks. The Blazers’ defense has been elite all season and the Nets were #1 in defensive efficiency in November before they faced the Kings. This checks out as a game where the Nets’ defense will look to get-right and the Blazers, in their second game at home, will look more like their stingy selves. Love the under.
Kings TT over 122.5 (-110), to win 1.5 units
Spurs/Kings 1H over 119.5 or less (-110), to win 1 unit
Parlay: Kings 1Q ML and 1Q Over 61 (1 unit to win 1.94 units)
The Kings are looking EXPLOSIVE. They’re #1 in offensive efficiency over their last 4 games. Only the Celtics, who have been insanely productive, have eclipsed the Kings’ scoring ability in the short-term. And now two teams, both of which don’t give a shit about playing defense, will face each other and catalyze the other. The Spurs’ defense has somewhat improved over the last 5 games but not enough to stymie the Kings. What Sacramento did to Brooklyn on Tuesday was wild to watch and they’ll plan on doing the exact same thing against a defense that ranks 29th overall this season. Like the first half over and another big output by the Kings. Avoiding the full game total in case a blowout shortens the score. Firstly, same-game parlays count towards our unit count and ATS score so LFG! Love this parlay. The game will start off fast-paced and high scoring as it typically does when the Kings play and the Spurs, like most teams, will probably be shell shocked. Tre Jones is back for San Antonio and he’s a great facilitator for their offense. They’ll chase while the Kings should be able to score at will.
Sabonis over 18.5 points (-115), to win 1 unit
Sabonis should be able to dominate Jakob Poetl in the paint, a player who’s offensively gifted but won’t be able to out-muscle or out-skill Sabonis when he’s trying to score. Remember, props don’t count towards our overall units
