New School vs Old School

Thunder at Warriors +3 O/U 226.5 10:00pm ET

New school meets old school. The Thunder arrives to the Bay Area happy, healthy, and not to mention fresh. There are zero key players on the injury report tonight and Shai is back for this matchup after missing the Nov 14th in-season tournament game vs the Warriors. This will mark the first match-up between the two squads with OKC featuring Gilgeous-Alexander and rookie Holmgren both in the lineup. The Thunder have played their last 7 of 9 games at home and are yet to play a back-to-back in the month of November, winning 5 of the 9 and going 6-3 ATS. They continue to shoot at a high %, leaving Golden State in a vulnerable position tonight. Curry is still out with a knee injury and Draymond will serve his 5-game suspension after attempting his tryout for the WWE vs Minnesota two nights ago. Who will conduct the offense with those two out? Well, Chris Paul will need to step up in their absence, but it’s clear he lost a step in 2023. Klay Thompson has been as ordinary as a white painted wall so far this season, scoring between 14-18 points in just about every single game. Not to mention he will face a defense who are at the top of the league in opponent shooting %. 44% from the field ranking them 3rd, and 33.7% from downtown ranking them 7th. The question for tonight’s game will be, how does OKC keep the Warriors off the offensive glass? I believe this is where the freshness will kick in, grabbing defensive boards is nothing but footwork, effort, and the willingness to put in the extra effort. OK, a little height helps as well, but again lack of height can be made up in the effort category. Keeping Golden State off the glass I believe will assure a win for the Thunder tonight.

Making this a strong unit upgrade play of 2 units! I’m not a fan of laying points on the road so we will pay 30-40 cents and take the money-line. Let’s back the young guns of OKC tonight!

Thunder ML (-140) risk 2.8u to win 2u

*This line is moving so get this play in sooner rather than later, to avoid the extra juice.*
