NFL Week 13 Misleading Final Scores

  • The Chicago bears out-gained the Arizona Cardinals 329 to 257 yet lost 33-22.  A 4-0 turnover ratio did them in.
  • The Saints out-gained the Cowboys 405 to 377 yet lost 27-17.  A 4-1 turnover ratio killed them and they could have been in this game.
  • The Chargers only out-gained the Bengals 363 to 356 yet won 41-22.  A 4-3 turnover ratio and bad field position got the Bengals.
  • The Vikings out-gained the Lions 426 to 372 yet lost 29-27.  A 2-1 turnover ratio hurt them as well as choking on defense.
  • The Raiders out-gained the WFT 310 to 298 yet lost 17-15.  They won the turnover battle 1-0 but horrible on 3rd downs and bad + field efficiency.
  • San Francisco out-gained Seattle 365 to 327 yet lost 30-23.  Equal turnovers, 10 penalties and bad special teams hurt the 49ers.
  • Denver out-gained Kansas City 404 to 267 yet lost 22-9.  A 3-1 turnover ratio and Teddy Bridgewater’s poor play hurt the Broncos.
