A few bad beats in the NFL but overall a good weekend.
NBA
- Hornets -6.5 ** (Hornets should completely overwhelm Houston at home – their offense is too potent for the Rockets to hang with)
- Hawks +6 ** (Trae is returning and the Bulls are off a back-to-back)
- Jazz/Spurs under 228 * (D. Mitchell and D. Murray are both OUT for this contest, each team’s premiere scorers. The game should slow down and be methodically controlled by Utah)
- Suns -8.5 * (just one unit but this is a good get-right spot for Phoenix after their Christmas Day disappointment – I think it’s a blowout)
NFL:
- Saints +3 * (Ian Book may be better than people think – he was good in the preseason – and the Saints defense should really challenge Tua. Plus, the Dolphins have only beaten weak teams to get back to .500 – Saints have had many more challenging opponents, and won)
