• Nets/Celtics over 226, 1 unit
  • Okay so first there’s the basic reasons why I like these two bets, which are fairly obvious, such as the Nets scoring potential, the Celtics proven prowess as the #1 offense in the NBA for a significant portion of the 2nd half of the season, and the pace that we saw in the 1st contest. Those are all legit. Here’s what’s more legit: after game 1, this game will be officiated way differently. We know how the politics of the NBA work and Kevin Durant was NOT happy about the physicality he endured. Now, do I think that’s kind of a wimpy position? Oh yes. SOFT. But he’s not wrong that officiating has been inconsistent and unpredictable. Expect the refs to favor the Nets and their offense from the onset, and expect Durant and the Nets to capitalize early. I’ll take the dog, who’s pissed and looking for revenge in game 2, and let’s hit the over while we’re at it, too.
• Bucks 1Q -3.5, 1 unit, and
• Bucks 1H -6, 1.5 units
  • Chicago continues to be a second half team and that was no different in game 1. Outscored 51-43 in the 1H and it felt like it should have been MUCH more, the fact that the Bulls nearly came back and threatened Milwaukee at the end won’t sit well with Giannis and his team. At home, expect the Bucks to come out explosive and expect them to overwhelm Chicago on both sides of the court. I’d favor the full game -10, too– this series really shouldn’t ever be close.
• Durant and Giannis props – probably not a bad idea.

MLB Picks: Don’t love a lot on the Wednesday card but I like a 2-team parlay. I think both of these teams win but there ain’t shit to like about the juice.

• Parlay Athletics ML + Mariners ML, 1 unit to win 1.92 units
  • Two home teams with two superior pitchers in a nice spot against two poor squads. Of course I could give you more details and nuances to make myself sound smarter but in the end, that’s the fucking bottom line. Let’s hit this parlay!
