Happy Feb, people! January treated us well, let’s hope for the same in the weird, cold-ass month of February.

Speaking of weird, NBA betting is extremely difficult right now because of the unpredictable nature of injuries and “rest.” Trae Young was announced “OUT” officially just 30 minutes before tipoff last night. Darius Garland was a late scratch, too. Managing your picks and suffering shitty losses because of the volatile nature of NBA injuries is really frustrating. I’ll try to put notes in here to alert you as much as I can. It’s also really important to practice your own temperance and to lower your investment day-to-day based on what you can handle. Onto Tuesday:
NBA Picks:
  • Raptors -2.5 **
    • I’m anticipating no Jimmy Butler in this game and even if he does play, will he be 100%? The Raptors are feeling themselves and this is a short line for a team that’s REALLY good at home lately. I’m on Toronto, but if Jimmy does play, this is only a 1 unit wager.
  • Bucks 1H -6.5 **
  • Bucks full game -11.5 **
    • This has blowout written all over it. This is a HORRIBLE spot for the Wizards, they’re without Beal, and the Bucks are seeking vengeance at home. The Bucks will be entirely too much for them on offense, especially with the pace they run on their home floor. They’re also one of the best 1st/2nd QTR teams in the NBA – while the Wizards are one of the worst. All in on Milwaukee!
CBB Picks:
  • Alabama/Auburn under 155.5 *
    • Expecting regression in this rematch on offense and a better all-around defensive effort from Auburn.
  • Stanford -5
    • Get-right spot for Stanford against a very beatable Cal team. Stanford should be able to control this game and stay 5-6 points ahead heading into the final minutes (aka foul shot city).
If you ever have any questions, message me here, on Twitter, or on Instagram. I will make myself available from 9am to 5pm every day, but please don’t expect an answer outside of those hours. I gotta shut it down sometimes. All picks are 1-5 stars based on unit size and confidence. 3 star picks are rare, 4-5 star picks are VERY rare. -Chris
