JP Sears over 17.5 pitching outs (Caesars -121) risking 1.21u to win 1u
JP Sears takes the mound for the terribly bad, yet winners of 2 straight, Oakland Athletics. This kid has been wheeling and dealing as of late, and I believe I have come up with the perfect prop to back him on. In his last 5 starts, he has a 2.33 ERA, has only given up 8 hits in 27 innings pitched and hitter have a .194 BA versus him. His WHIP in the month of May was an astounding 0.95. Today he gets to face a weak Brewers line-up hitting .227 this season, and only .210 vs lefties. Sears has been very good vs righties this season, giving up a BA of .211. Ironically the Brewers went righty heavy today and immediately I asked myself why? Well, due to his lack of command last outing vs Pittsburgh, Brewers head coach Craig Counsell was sure to start his 5 guys with high walk percentages. This does not concern me one bit as command has not been a problem for JP. Let’s get him through 6 innings today!
