BYU vs Tennessee Under 51.5 – 2 star Premium Shared
So I like to look at 2 teams that disappointed the week before with turnovers. Both BYU and Tennessee had 3 turnovers last game and should try and take better care of the football which means less passes. Tennessee gave up 213 yards on the ground last week and BYU gave up 262. I think that both teams should see that and focus on the running game. There is a road under BYU trend that I really like and it is another big reason for this play. BYU plays very well on the road and should be able to slow this game down. They only had 67 Plays per game last year under Jeff Grimes. New OC Jim Chaney may have a pass heavy offense in Tennessee but he also doesn’t press the pace as we saw at Georgia and Arkansas. There is a few trends that I like in this game and it is that the under in BYU games on the road is 35-16 since Nov 14th 2009. When they are a road dog the under is 11-2 since Sept 19th, 2015. I will go with the under in this game.

Illinois – 20 vs Uconn – 2 star Premium Shared –
UCONN is terrible and barley beat a bad FCS team in Wagner. Last year they were outscored 50 to 22 and allowed a record 8.8 yards per play. Illinois is much improved as you saw vs Akron. They were young last year and have grown a bit. Illinois likes to play a faster pace game when they are up against the smaller teams. I think that this should not be hard to cover in Connecticut and there is a reason for this high of a spread.

Western Michigan +16 vs Michigan State
I gave this out at Western Michigan +17.5 but I actually like it down to 14 for 1 unit. I am high on Western Michigan this year. Their quarterback Jon Wassink was great last year until he got hurt vs Toledo. Western Michigan ranks number 1 in returning production. Michigan State on the other hand is a great defensive team but I really do not buy into their offense. They only averaged 4.6 yards per play under Lewerke last year and they did not have a good showing vs a bad Tulsa team. Michigan State is 1-7 ATS at home since 2018. Michigan State is also in a look ahead spot to getting revenge from that Arizona State game last year. This is like a bowl game for the Western Michigan Broncos and I think they score some points to cover this spread.
