Chicago Bears vs the Detroit Lions -3 O/U 44 – Gonna sound like a homer pick here of course but this thing moved to 3 and that is too far for the Lions. I have the Bears a slightly better team than the Lions on paper due to their ferocious defense. Football outsiders have the Bears ranked 18th from last year and the Lions ranked 21st. The lions have the better offense, supposedly anyways, but their coach Matt Patricia isn’t offensive minded at all. You can’t tell me that the Lions should get a 3 point home field advantage even if you have them at an equal or slightly better team. There are two huge things to consider this game. Mitch Trubisky is playing for his football future. It is do or die for him and if he is terrible, the Bears can always put Foles in. Matt Stafford has already been paid 9 figures for his contributions in the NFL. The Bears could win this outright and my power rankings have the Lions a -1.25. I also think that this number being key at 3 makes it a safe bet and I like it up to -120.
