The draft has always been one of my favorite things to bet due to the immense amount of media noise as well as the overall value that you can find within the numbers. If you ask many of the sportsbook managers, they most likely will tell you that the draft is their least profitable event that they will have all year. That is usually great news for the sports bettor. By deep diving into the players, the needs of each team, and what we think that these GMs might do, this draft could be a very nice money maker for us all!
Jamar Chase over 5.5 +150 – 1.5 star – The Bengals would be nuts to pick this guy when they have so many other needs. Burrow tore his ACL last year due to being over-worked and having a bad offensive line. We also have to remember that the Bengals just drafted Tee Higgens with the 33rd pick last year and blew a first round pick on John Ross just a few years back. I’ll grab the plus money here hoping Mike Brown makes a smart decision and drafts Sewell.
Rashad Bateman over 28.5 -150 – 1 star – There are 6 better wide receivers that should go before him. We took this play for premium members at 26.5 but we still think there is value at over 28.5 due to the Packers drafting 29th.
Giants 1st pick Defense -110 – 1 star – The Giants just picked up Golliday and Ross in free agency which tells me that they will go defense because they have a needs for linebacker and edge rusher.
Arizona 1st pick defense -150 – 1.5 stars – Steve Keim has a very good offense now but needs to fix his defense. The Cardinals could not stop the run when they had to and they also let Patrick Peterson walk at CB.
Baltimore 1st pick offense +100 – 1 star – Now that the Ravens traded their best offensive tackle to the Chiefs, They could easily go offensive line here and get defense with the 31st pick.
First round Safety under .5 +170 – 1.5 star premium play – I’ll take the + here. There is a good chance that all safeties go into the second round because none of these players really stick out to many of these coaches/GMs who have other big needs.
