Atlanta Braves vs NY Mets -130 O/U 8.5

This game stuck out to me this morning.  The Mets got shut out the last 2 games and since 2011, the Mets are 56% at 36-28 counting all of them bad years.  Trevor MeGill is pitching for New York and he is definitely green with only 3 innings pitched so far but the Braves won’t be able to do anything right with Kyle Wright on the mound sporting a 6.37 FIP and a 1.69 lifetime Whip.  I think that this game is pretty much up to the bullpens.  The Mets Bullpen ranks 7th in FIP at 3.69 to Atlanta’s bullpen ranking 19th at 4.28.  Both of these teams are quite close in wRC+ and most batting categories but the Mets are in a better spot health-wise with Acuna scratched with back tightness.   We took this line this morning at -111 and it has grown but I still like it at -130 up to -140.  Gonna give out the Metros today.

Mets -130 – 1.5 stars

Kiev O'Neil: 20+ years of sports betting experience. Podcast host since 2017. College Football since 2019 412-367-27 UP 58.7U NFL since 2018 249-228-16 up 40U UFC since 2019 82-74-5 up 34.1U I do not necessarily look at myself as being a so called “sharp” sports bettor. Instead I like to think of myself as a great compiler of information who specializes in the Big 10, but also handicaps all NFL, NCAA football, UFC, Basketball, Horse Racing and more! I encourage people to specialize in a conference or division that will help give them the greatest edge in their sports wagers. I am never against a person betting against their favorite teams when the situation is right.
