This is a pretty low total for a great hitting team such as Houston vs a moderate hitting team such as Seattle. Their West Coast ballpark is part of that reason but the main reason is that Lance McCullers is pitching for the ‘Stros and he is boasting a nice 2.87 FIP on his away games with an amazing 12.36 Ks/9 innings pitched. Yusei Kikuchi is pitching for the M’s and he is below average at home with a 4.42 FIP and 9.83 Ks/9 innings himself. When Kikuchi has faced Houston, he has allowed a horrible 32 earned runs over 45 innings with a 6.38 ERA. Houston is the best performing team vs left handed batters and they are trying to retain control over their division and close this one out as soon as possible for a good rest a the end before the playoffs. Taking the Astros with a decent price here.
