The Minnesota Golden Gophers head to Happy Valley to take on the Penn State Nittany Lions this Saturday at Beaver Stadium. This will be PSU’s white out game this season and it may be the best atmosphere in sports but they are just 9-8 in these games and we have an unranked Gophers team coming in for the prime time game a week ahead of the matchup between the Nittany Lions and the Buckeyes. Penn State has not covered in the past 3 years the week before playing Ohio State and lost their last 2 outright! Minnesota ranks in the top 5 in running the football and they will be up against a PSU defense that ranks 111th in defending the run and 113th in tackling. The Gophers are the better overall team in my opinion and specifically will run all over Penn State to cover this spread and wont be surprised if they win this one outright. If you like it, grab it now because I see it closing right on the key number of 3.
