- Forte (#6) was a late scratch in the Kentucky Debry after suffering an injured hoof. He was held out of the Preakness as well and will make his return to racing in the final leg of the Triple Crown. - National Treasure (#4) is coming off a victory in the Preakness Stakes. This is Bob Baffert’s first horse in the Belmont Stakes since Justify in 2018.
