UMASS vs New Mexico State -7 O/U 45
Lots of sharp people bet numbers in college football and I get that, but we also have to remember who UMASS is. They were the worst team in football last year going up against a team who has improved with coach Jerry Kill. The total is 45 which prompted the dog play for a numbers game. Jerry Kill returns a good amount of starters from last year including QB Pavia Diego. Last year, the Aggies were a nice .66 net yards per play while the Minutemen were a dismal -2.07. I can’t move my power ratings on these teams quite enough to not make this a double digit point spread no matter how low this total may be. Taking the Aggies to kick it off!
