When watching the tournament, it is fun to observe teams that have really picked it up in their play. Texas A&M is that candidate. This Aggies team has won six out of their last seven games while scoring at least 80 points in their last five. Somehow, this team has learned how to shoot the ball with guys like Wade Taylor unconscious from three. What nobody is really talking about is the fact that these teams faced off back in December at the Toyota Center in Houston. That game ended up with a Cougars win by only four points. It is well known that the Cougars have the best defense in the land, but the Aggies have been a rebounding machine ranking number one in offensive rebounds and they do not turn the ball over ranking 18th. Houston is also at keeping track of the ball, but they have some of the same shooting issues as A&M has had in the past ranking 203rd in effective FG%. Houston also struggles at the free throw line ranking 297th in FT% at 69.1%. I think that this is too many points in a game of this caliber. Take the Aggies.
