College Football Week 1 Misleading Final Scores

338
  • Syracuse only out-gained Ohio 480 – 436 yet won 38-22.  Equal turnovers at 1, but bad 3rd down efficiency for the Bobcats at 2/11 hurt.
  • Old Dominion out-gained South Carolina 305 to 288 yet lost 23-19.  A 4-0 turnover ratio did them in.
  • South Alabama out-gained North Texas 582 to 550 yet lost 52-38.  Equal turnovers at 0, but 9 penalties really did them in.
  • UC Davis out-gained Cal 304 to 281 yet lost 31-13.  A 3-1 turnover ratio did them in.
  • Houston’s yards mainly garbage yards vs UNLV.  No adjustment
  • Texas Tech was out-gained by Abilene Christian 615 to 539 yet barley won 52-51.   A 1-0 turnover ratio hurt the Wildcats.

Kiev O'Neil: 20+ years of sports betting experience. Podcast host since 2017. College Football since 2019 412-367-27 UP 58.7U NFL since 2018 249-228-16 up 40U UFC since 2019 82-74-5 up 34.1U I do not necessarily look at myself as being a so called “sharp” sports bettor. Instead I like to think of myself as a great compiler of information who specializes in the Big 10, but also handicaps all NFL, NCAA football, UFC, Basketball, Horse Racing and more! I encourage people to specialize in a conference or division that will help give them the greatest edge in their sports wagers. I am never against a person betting against their favorite teams when the situation is right.
