*CBB(1u): Duke/Florida State UNDER 145(-110)–8 PM CT

Duke has looked pretty solid through their first 5 conference games, but in my opinion, this is a major step up in competition. Unlike many other teams who Duke matches up with, Florida State has the pure talent and athleticism to go toe-to-toe with the Blue Devils. Mainly, the Seminoles play a really solid brand of defense, ranking 35th in defensive efficiency according to KenPom. While Duke has a top 10-15 offense in the country, their opponents’ average defensive efficiency rating up to this point is just 247th. That said, Duke plays a pretty solid brand of defense themselves. While Florida State has talent, this offense has been very mediocre across the board this season. The ‘Noles run at a pretty average pace; while Duke can be inclined to up the tempo at times, I don’t think they will choose that course of action in a competitive road conference game. All things considered, this total is too high for my liking. I think Florida State keeps this competitive, and the way they do that is by getting stops on the defensive end of the floor. I like the Under in this one.
