I liked a Portland a little when the line was -6.5 this morning. Thought it might go good with a teaser paired with Prairie View. I did not fire on this.
However, Portland has now dropped to -4 home favorite here. I have looked for some information on why this line has moved so much. I can’t find anything. I definitely am cautious with such a line move.
All 3 Analytics are projecting at least a 9 point win for Portland. That would be too steep for me but -4 seems very reasonable. Jackson St has lost badly to much better teams. They have 6 road losses of 15 or more points.
Portland is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 at home. However, they are 6-3 ATS in their last 9 overall.
I think this warrants a small look at Portland -4.
