Prediction:
I think that there might be some value here on the As. Jacob Lopez takes the helm boasting a pretty low ERA of 2.57 over 14 innings. Yes, I know it is a very small sample size, but he isn’t exactly going against great pitching. Jose Berrios is the man for the Blue Jays with a 4.22 ERA and a 4.71 FIP after 64 innings pitched. Why do I like the As chances? Well simply because they do have the better bullpen ranking 10th in FIP to 15th for the Blue Jays. They also rank higher in hitting wRC+ at 7th compared to the Blue Jays at a modest 15th. Toronto is coming home after a road stint, and there could be distractions for the players. I will take the plus money.
A’s +147 – 1 star
