I sent my premium plays for the Week 7 CFB Card out last night, but I made a play in tonight’s ALCS game that I felt worthy of being a premium play. I’ll be back in touch early Sunday morning with my premium NFL card(I’m not as high volume in NFL and I like to see how CFB Saturday plays out before I decide how to allocate my units on Sunday).

The Red Sox will send Chris Sale to the hill to open up the ALCS. Sale struggled mightily in his 1 ALDS appearance, but he showed enough throughout the regular season and has a great career reputation in addition to postseason experience. The lefty should be able to neutralize the Astros’ lefties(Brantley, Alvarez, Tucker) and always has the potential to dominate a start. Astros SP Framber Valdez struggled mightily with walks this season(3.9 BB/9) and will face a very stout Red Sox lineup stacked with right-handed batters. Valdez is at a disadvantage not having much postseason experience, and he is at risk for a blowup start. I think we’re getting terrific value on the Red Sox early in this game. I wouldn’t bother trusting either of these bullpens late, however.
