  • Florida State out-gained Virginia 514 to 440 yet lost in OT 46-38.  Equal turnovers at 3, but poor red zone defense and field position got the Semis.  
  • ASU out-gained TCU 498 to 269 yet only won 27-24.   They won the turnover battle 3-1 but a terrible start to the game with poor special teams hurt them.
  • Navy outgained Rice 455 to 234 yet only won 21-13.  A 1-0 turnover ratio and field position got them from covering.
  • Texas A&M out-gained Auburn 414 to 177 yet only won 16-10.  A 1-0 pick 6 turnover ratio did them in.
  • Jacksonville State out-gained Southern Miss 390 to 377 yet lost 42-25.  A nasty 4-1 turnover ratio smoked em.
  • Marshall out-gained Louisiana 501 to 461 yet lost 54-51 in overtime.   They won the turnover battle 2-1, but poor special teams and red zone defense got the herd.
  • UTEP’s yards were mainly garbage time so no adjustement.
