971 Rockies -145 – 3 star premium shared –  The Rockies are going for a road sweep here and I am not sure why the price on them is this low.  Colorado’s German Marquez has started out hot with a 1.89 ERA and 2.02 FIP.  His career FIP is 3.87.  Seattle’s Justus Sheffield has a career 6.4 ERA and 4.9 FIP.   The Rockies Rank 1st in batting average this year and 3rd in OPS.  The Mariners rank 20th in batting average and 24th in OPS.  The Rockies have a top 8 bullpen in FIP and the Mariners rank 29th.  This price is short at -145.

Aleksei Olenik to win by submission +250 – 1 star premium play shared and Derrick Lewis to win in the first round +275 – 1 star premium shared play – Count this as one play.   There is more than one way to skin a cat so as they say.   Derrick Lewis is a monster and will be throwing some haymakers the whole fight.   Sometimes it works for him and sometimes it doesn’t.  His problem is that sometimes he gets pretty gassed by the later rounds.  Aleksei Olenik isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.  He has been known to jump head first into fights and getting knocked out early like we saw vs Overeem and Harris.  Olenik is old and has fought 73 times but if he can get his boa constrictor hands on you, then there is a good chance that he will be submitting.   The man has 46 submissions under his belt.  No chance that this fight goes the distance with 5 rounds.  If Lewis can’t knock him out in the first, then I think Aleksei wins and it will be on the ground.

Seattle Mariners +178 – 1 star premium shared – I think this game vs the Angels is closer to a coin flip.   I know Trout comes back after having a kid, and can be either rusty and timid or confident and strong.   Due to the added stress of this Covid thing, I would go with rusty and timid.  Neither pitcher here blows me away with Anaheim’s Andrew Heaney having a 4.91 ERA in 2019 and Seattle’s Justin Dunn having a 2.7 ERA in just 4 games in 2019.  The Angels are a little bit better of a team as a whole over the Mariners but it isn’t by much. This line should be around +130ish in my opinion so there is certainly some value on the Mariners.

Kevin Holland -210 – 2.5 star premium shared – Holland is the bigger fighter and much more experienced than Trevin Giles.   Giles is 2-3 in the UFC and Holland is 4-2.  Holland has a 7 inch reach on Giles and is a better striker landing 4.3 significant strikes per minute to Gile’s 3.6.   Kevin Holland is good at winning all ways but likes to go the distance if he is winning.  He plays defense in the 3rd.  Giles was good at submitting his opponents in other organizations but hasn’t won by submission yet in the UFC.   Holland has only been submitted twice in his career.   I think that Holland wins this fight walking away.

LA Dodgers -141 vs Arizona Diamondbacks +131

The Diamondbacks are off to a poor start ranking 28th in batting average and OBP.  They rank 30th in runs and 29th in slugging.   Their pitching isn’t all that great either and now they have to face Julio Urias who has had success vs this team having a nice 1.29 ERA.  Luke Weaver is on the helm for the snakes this game and he still hasn’t found his control.  Weaver is an average pitcher facing an all-star lineup.  The fact that the Dbacks won’t have fans can’t help them here.  Dodgers are on a mission this year.   A mission from God as Jake Blues would say.   Any time that you can get the Dodgers under -150 this year has to be highly considered.
