Podcast 29 – College week 12 and NFL week 11 football – Sports Betting
Great weekend for some football! Today we discuss NCAA week 12 games and NFL week 11 plays
NCAA: Michigan vs Wisconsin – Buffalo vs Ball St – Kentucky vs Georgia – TCU vs Texas Tech – Virginia vs Miami – LSU vs Tennessee – Florida Int vs Florida Atlantic – Louisiana Monroe vs Auburn –
Illinois vs Ohio state – UCLA vs USC
NFL: Bengals vs Broncos – Patriots vs Raiders – Redskins vs Saints – Teaser
NCAA week 11 recap
Very somber news. We could all see this coming. He held on for dear life for a long time. Butch Jones has been fired.
5-7-1 last week in college but 3-0 with 1 to go in the NFL making it an 8-7-1 weekend. Not good but not terrible.
87-80-4 for the season in college
Glad to be back in our rutine for sure. Not that I don’t love Jamaica mon….
Recap:
Washington vs Stanford – Bryce love pretty much ruined the pac 12’s hopes of national championship. 166 yards and 3 touchdowns. Well at least he is in the heisman race.
Michigan St vs Ohio State – So weird that this ended up an early game. What a pathetic performance by Michigan State. Ohio state ran for 335 yards while Michigan State was held to 60 on the ground. Feel sorry for whomever bet the under. Whenever Urban Meyer loses you best bet that they dominate the next game or games. I will remember that kind of tilt for next year.
Oklahoma state vs Iowa St – Here was the awfully officiated game of the week. It’s almost like the officials were wearing cowboys shirts under their zebra stripes. They kept calling Iowa state’s jams pass interference on the line of scrimage. The WR was doing the same exact thing. But what brings insult to injury is that Oklahoma state was pass interfering much worse and were not called for it. Pretty sad but glad we tweeted out 7 and the hook!
Iowa vs Wisconsin – This wouldn’t even be a game if there were no pick 6 turnovers. Iowa had a total of 66 yards on offense while Wisconsin had 382! The only way iowa scored was lucky Pick 6s. This game puts us 10-0 and you know what that means. We win the wisconsin season win total of 9.5 games with 2 games to spare. Wisconsin is a force to be reconned with. Huge test next week against Michigan who just spanked Maryland in their back yard.
Georgia vs Auburn – What a great game by Auburn and what an upset. Auburn had 488 yards against this supposed great Georgia defense and Georgia had only 230 yards. Ya know, Auburn is probably as good as like an Iowa or maybe like a Washington at best. They lost to a team in LSU who lost to Troy for their homecoming. SEC stinks this year period.
Alabama vs Mississippi St – Man I was hoping for an upset here. Miss St really choaked this one away and couldn’t close the deal. But why should they? Mississippi st barely beat Umass and got destroyed by Georgia. No real great stats in the game. I suppose Jalen Hurts 242 yards passing was pretty decent.
Notre Dame vs Miami – What a disappointment by Notre Dame. But what i should say is what a great game and quickness on both sides of the ball for Miami. Notre Dame could not get the outside run game going at all. Miami has some serious athletes on this team. Notre Dame was shut out the first half 27-0. Too big of a hole to dig out on the road. 4 tournovers. Bad day for Whimbush. This takes them out of CFB contention. Sucks because I finally stop fading Brian Kelly and he smacks us in the face. Unreal. I won’t be talking smack about Miami in the near future. Can’t believe this team barely beat Florida State. Notre Dames loss really helps out the big 10 and hurts the SEC because that Georgia win doesn’t mean too much anymore.
TCU vs Oklahmoa – Total let down for TCU. They really couldn’t stop Baker Mayfield and that is why he his leading the Heisman race. Baker had 333 yards while the sooners also had 200 on the ground! TCU is in danger of missing the playoffs unless they beat Oklahoma in the big 12 Championship game at a neutral site. Oklahoma looks like they are coasting into the playoffs…
Let down spots
Alabama hosting Mercer LOL, but no seriously, Bama may take it easy this game.
Louisiana Monroe vs Auburn – Same deal here. Notice how pathetic the SEC is by the way. These two schedules before the Iron bowl
Wisconsin hosting Michigan – That Iowa game took a bit of a toll on them. But this is also a revenge spot for Sconnie
Miami hosting Virginia – HMMMMM, could be interesting
Clemson vs the Citidal – HAHA, another pathetic scheduling spot. Imagine if the big 10 did this?
Look ahead spots
Michigan could look past Wisconsin to Ohio state. I mean, would be stupid but don’t think Michigan isn’t thinking revenge. If michigan wins out, Ohio State would still get in because they would have only 1 big 10 west loss while Michigan lost to Michigan state and Penn State. That makes it less important to beat Wisconsin. Will be interesting
Alabama and Auburn looking ahead to eachother but still against garbage teams. Pathetic
Washington looking past Utah to Wazoo
New Teams on Tilt:
TCU at Texas Tech
Washington at utah maybe but look ahead?
Georgia ready to destroy Kentucky
Iowa’s pathetic performance to play Purdon’t
Notre Dame vs Navy plus revenge spot
Va tech tilting from Georgia tech loss vs Pitt
NFL Fantasy week 11
Key Injuries:
Devonte Freeman – Concussion Protocol
Greg Olson to return next week
Allen Hurns left in a walking boot
Ty Montgomery – Rib Injury
Waiver Picks ups:
Robert woods went off this week with 10 targets 171 yards and 2 TDs
Branden Lafell from the bengals had 10 targets 95 yards and a TD
Josh Bellamy had 7 targets and a TD
Jamal Williams from the packers
Break out players:
Kareem hunt and Maybe even Chandrick West vs the Giants Awful run defense
Shady Mccoy vs The chargers worst run d in the NFL
Cooper and Crabtree vs the Patriots pass defense.
Jarvis Landry vs the Bucks bad pass defense
Jamal Williams vs the Ravins Run D is my Nasty sleeper of the week

College football week 9 Recap
What a great week of games! Some upsets! Some undefeated teams go down!
We had a good week hitting our top bets and finished 8-7. Huge finish at the end of the night with USC, San Diego state and over Arizona all hitting easily. 76-66-2 Overall for the year. We also stated college basketball research and it is going to be a fun season. We will be talking and tweeting about sharp movements as usual as well as a few plays each week.
Florida State vs Boston College – What a blow out. What does this say about the Alabama Florida State win?? Serious questions when it comes to the playoff rankings. This goes to show you that sometimes when you handicap you need to look at what they have done recently. They are lower in power ratings because that looks at the total body of work rather than the recent. This is why Florida State was favored by over 6!! Boston College is at least 15 points better in the Power ratings than they were 1 month ago! I think it is important to cover some teams that vastly improved. This is also important in Basketball by the way!
Teams that improved!
Oregon State, Boston College, Arizona, Arizona State, Michigan State, Iowa State, Florida Atlantic, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Ohio State, . Who are the next teams? Not sure if Vegas sees Oregon State as improved yet but we sure do.
Wisconsin vs Illinois – This game gave me Leprocy. And i apologize for anyone out there that may have or know someone who is a Leper. Alex Hornibrook made his interception quota. The Badgers really treated this like a Bye week. Rested some key players like Dixon and loudermilk. Jonathan Taylor had a slight ankle and sat out the second half. It is true that the Badgers are over rated. Or at least over ranked. They are a top 12 team but not a top 5 team.
Texas vs Baylor – Baylor looked much worse this week. Lots of credit to texas for getting past this tough spot in fashion. Baylor ran for a total of 31 yards. You won’t beat anybody doing that.
Ok State vs West Virginia – Alex Grier may have to start his own Youtube Channel like his little brother if he keeps throwing 4 picks like that. Total gunslinger. Some passes looked good yet some looked awful. The sharps did well on this bet. We had the over as a personal play.
Louisville – Wake forest – Louisvile……..
NC State vs Notre Dame – What an awful awful game. Chalked full of penalties. Some injuries. NC State is not a team built to come back from losing. They do not have enough fire power especially when it comes to away games. Josh Adams from Notre Dame had 202 yards rushing. Whimbush didn’t have to do to much here. He only threw for an easy 104 yards and 2 TDs. They played a smart game and I have to give credit to Brian Kelly.
Ohio State vs Penn State – What a game. Who ever scheduled Michigan, Ohio state and Mich State in a row for Penn State should be highly scrutinized. Penn state jumped them in the beginning but Ohio state started winning in the trenches. Penn State completely ran out of gas in 4th quarter. Saquon Barkley had only 44 yards rushing on 21 carries. That is not heisman material. Maybe it had to do with their Michigan game last week but you have to give credit to JT Barrett for the comeback. This was the best game I have ever seen him play throwing for 328 yards, 4 touchdowns and rushing for 95 yards. I still think they could be another loss looming somewhere for 1 or both of these teams before the bowl season starts.
Cal vs Colorado – Lets face it, Cal is a terrible away team and a good home team. I thought 3 and the hook was going to be enough. I was wrong there for sure. I think they are like a 6 power ranking when at home and a -4 on the road. Gonna keep that in mind for sure here on out.
WaSu vs Arizona – We nailed this one. It was our biggest bet this week. Total went to 95 points when it opened at 61. A huge inefficiency in the market here. Of course looking back you wish you bet even more but this game made me happy. Luke Faulk was benched this game for Tyler Hilinksi. Hilinski threw for 500 yards but it wasn’t enough when you let Arizona run for 310 yards!!! Arizona will be ranked this week but the sad thing is that now there is only 1, one loss team left in the Pac 12. Washington is their hope to make it to the playoffs.
TCU vs Iowa State – Did we say that the big 12 will beat each other up? I believe so. Now we don’t have an undefeated team in that conference with 4 games to go. This conference will be lucky to get by with only 1 loss. Just like we said before, the teams in the big 12 may take each other all of out playoff contention especially with teams like Notre Dame doing well. A 1 loss big 12 I think makes it this year thanks to Ohio State losing to Oklahoma. This game was all about defense. TCU actually outgained Iowa State by 50 yards or so but the 3 tournovers lost it for them..
USC vs ASU – Finally talent outweighs momentum. USC was in a tough spot and played like they should have played. Sam Darnold had 2 tds in this game. ASU could not stop the run as predicted allowing 341 rushing yards. They will be a disrupter in the Pac 12.
Let down spots –
Houston @ East Carolina – Houston took out USF
Ohio State @ Iowa
Iowa State @ West Virginia
Notre Dame @ Wake forest a kinda let down spot but may look more at the under
Look ahead Spots –
Ohio state could be in a sandwich spot looking to Michigan state past Iowa

Clemson looking to florida State??? WRONG
Notre Dame looking past wake forest to Miami
Miami looking past Va Tech to Notre Dame?? Kinda doubt it
