Cam Akers 2023. That’s it. That’s the tweet I think is the phrase. Or the X it is now called. This is his year, this is his backfield, this is his team. No competing with another RB, no splitting carries. He will be their workhorse in 2023. I was all over him to end the 2022 season, betting him over yards almost every week and I’m not stopping now. Six of the last eight weeks he was able to hit the 60-yard mark, getting 12 carries or more in 7 of the 8 and going over the century mark in his last THREE games. Landing Seattle week 1 could be the perfect opponent for him. In two games last season, he had 164 yards on 38 carries. Averaging 4.3 yards per carry.
