Key Injuries:

WR Khalil Shakir had a head injury.

WR Tee Higgins hurt his Ribs and is day to day or week to week.

RB Javonte Williams hurt his hip and was ruled out.

QB Justin Herbert broke his non-throwing middle finger but should be ok after the bye.

TE Juwan Johnson ruled out with a calf injury.

QB Kenny Pickett had a knee injury.

QB DeShawn Watson was a surprise scratch last week.

WR Mike Evans had a hammy last game.

Waiver Wire:

  • QB Mitch Trubisky for the Steelers might be a streamer this week.
  • QB Zach Wilson showed some flashes against the Chiefs but nothing I would trust unless you are desperate.
  • TE Cole Kmet will be used more with Chase Claypool being outsted.  He had two TDs
  • WR Tyler Boyd for Higgins injury.
  • WR Jameson Williams for the Lions is back.
  • RB Jaleel McLaughlin for the Broncos looks like Javante’s handcuff.
  • WR Terrance Marshall from Carolina had 10 targets last week.  Only 1%of leagues own him.
  • WR Curtis Samuel had a good game last week with 8 targets and a TD
  • WR Michael Wilson from Arizona had a great game with 7 targets and two TDs.

Non-starters trending up for week 5

  • QB Zach Wilson against the Broncos believe it or not should be ok.
  • RB Michael Carter against the Broncos should also be good.
  • WR Garrett Wilson against Broncos as well.
  • QB Josh Dobbs vs a bad Bengals pass defense is a streamer this week.
  • QB Jordan Love will get right vs a bad Raiders team.
  • RB AJ Dillon vs the Raiders is also nice.
  • WR Jalen Waddle vs the Giants should eat.
  • QB Sam Howell vs the Bears is a nice matchup.
  • WR DeAndre Hopkins vs the Colts should be able to get some yards.
  • QB Matt Stafford vs the Eagles could make hay.
  • RB Antonio Gibson vs the Bears.

Busts:

  • QB Brock Purdy vs Dallas worries me some.
  • QB Dak Prescott vs San Francisco also worries me.
  • RB Najee Harris vs the Ravens isn’t good.
  • QB Kenny Pickett vs the Ravens also isn’t good.
  • QB CJ Stroud vs Atlanta is somewhat worriesome.
  • RB Miles Sanders vs the Lions D isn’t a great match.
  • RB Kyren Williams vs Philadelphia isn’t a great option.

Nasty Sleeper – WR Curtis Samuel against the Bears lack of secondary should have a monster game.
