A new week is upon us, and I’m rolling with 2 NBA plays for tonight to get us started! If you would like to be notified when I post my plays, join my text service via Telegram: https://t.me/fordhamsportsgambling

*NBA(1u): Nuggets -4(-110) @ Hornets–6 PM CT

There is a reason the Hornets are multi-possession ‘dogs even after winning outright against the Jazz and Nets in recent days. This team does not perform well on short rest(this is their 3rd game in 4 nights and the second game of a back to back), and more importantly, they have no way to stop Nuggets C Nikola Jokic. The Hornets are a run-and-gun type of team that is very reliant on the 3, but unfortunately for them, Denver ranks 7th in defending the 3 ball this season. We’ve seen Denver have success on the road against faster-paced teams who struggle defensively, and when you consider how seismic the mismatch is down low, I think that continues tonight. Charlotte is just not a team you can trust to carry over success game-to-game. I’ll lay the 4 with the road favorite here.

*NBA(1u): Magic/Cavaliers UNDER 217(-110)–6 PM CT

Cleveland has cooled off in a major way after a very strong December/January. The Cavaliers are just 5-8 in the month of March and have lost each of their last 3 games heading into tonight. We saw them put up just 94 points on Saturday against the Bulls, a team who is notorious for no-show performances on the defensive end of the floor. The Magic might be one of the worst teams in the league, but that can be credited much more to their poor offense than to their defense which actually ranks 17th in defensive efficiency this season. Cleveland is the 2nd slowest-paced team in the league, so even if they find a rhythm tonight, it’s not going to lead to a huge dent on the scoreboard. While the Cavs’ defense has slipped since losing Jarrett Allen, they still rank 5th overall in defensive efficiency this season and have the benefit of facing off with arguably the worst offense in the league. If Cleveland can hold a Bulls team led by DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine to just 98 points, then they should have no trouble with the lowly Magic tonight. With this game being in Cleveland, I see the Cavs slowing the pace of this game down and getting this game over quickly. Under is the play.
