MLB Wednesday Free Plays – Lefty Loving

We’ve had a slow start to this week and we now sit at 160-136-2 on the season overall +68.99 units. Hoping to get us back on track today and grow the number. We’ve got a 100+ Unit winning season on the books in baseball and my highest wagers are 3 Units, and Most are between 1-2 Units. I’ve also got four straight documented years of high volume plays with an end of season result in the black. If you wanna be in a lot of action almost everyday take a look at me here at TheOddsbreakers.com.

I’ve got just a short write up today as my analysis today turns to a pair of games. The Milwaukee Brewers hosting the San Diego Padres and the New York Mets hosting the Detroit Tigers. Both of these are early games so just getting you a quick analysis and the picks here.

The key to both these handicaps are the left-handed starters for the Brewers and Tigers. Kyle Harrison has been great for the Brewers posting a 2.41 ERA and a 3.31 xFIP to go with 10.96 strikeouts per nine innings and only 3.48 walks. Keider Montero has also been good for Detroit albiet a little bit lucky posting a 3.18 ERA, a 4.55 xFIP, but only 6.58 strikeouts per nine to go along with a solid walk rate of 1.82.

Two solid lefties and even though the Mets are throwing a solid starting pitcher out themselves in Nolan McLean the offensive woes of both the Mets and Padres against lefties just isn’t being accounted for enough in the price right now. Currently the Padres are 26th in MLB in OPS vs lefties at .617 while the Mets sit at 29th at .600. That folks is not going to get it done on an every day basis. The Tigers are also still being undervalued in the market over the last couple weeks with a 19-24 record, but only a -5 Run Differential.

I’ve been really strong so far this season at turning these price misses into plus money advantages and that’s what we are going for today.

Play both the Brewers ML and RL along with the Tigers ML and alternate RL to hedge the run one win a little bit while still trying to generate some solid errors in the books on the plus money side of things.

Brewers ML -129 to win 1 Unit, Brewers RL -1.5 +155 Risk 1 Unit.

Tigers ML +138 Risk 1 Unit, Tigers RL -1.5 +230 Risk 1 Unit.
