The good news is that they play the last place Cardinals who are 49-64 for the year thus far. Zach Eflin takes the mound for the Crds boasting a 3.46 ERA and a 2.93 FIP. Miles Mikolas will give it a go for the red birds at a 3.95 ERA and a 4.25 FIP. Both pitchers are righties. Tampa ranks 4th in wOBA vs right handed pitchers this year while the Cardinals rank 5th. Pretty good for both teams, but the kicker is the bullpen. The Cardinals are worse at hitting against lefties and the Rays will have a full bullpen after a nice days rest from Monday. The Rays have something to play for today while the Cardinals should be in tank mode, I don’t care mode, or whatever mode. Take the Rays.
