On Monday the NHL Comp Play is on The Florida Panthers at 7:05 eastern. Florida fits a rare system that pertains to game 3 of the NHL Season which shows road favorites are 4-0 off 2 initial  wins vs an opponent off a home win. Also of note is that home dogs like Boston that are 2-0 are winless vs a team that arrives off a road win. Florida has won 28 of 36 on Mondays and the Favorite is 4-1 in the series of late. Florida had won 11 of 13 as a road favorite. Look for Florida to get the win. On Monday a Powerful card is up with the Monday night Football Game of the Month, a 5* NHL Totals System and Game 5 of the Divisional Series All with Perfect Systems from the Database. New England vs Cleveland -3 O/U 43

Lots of questions this game.   Who will be quarterback for the Patriots especially now that Mac Jones is questionable?   I think the answer is clearly Bailey Zappe who played wonderfully vs the Lions.  I honestly have the Browns, and the Patriots minus Mac Jones power rated pretty evenly making my spread on this game close to a pickem, but it is the total that I am looking at here.  Now let’s face it, the Lions should have scored some points last game in Foxborough gaining over 300 yards, and I think that it shows the Patriots defense much better than they actually are.  Cleveland themselves is a pretty fast paced team ranking 5th in plays per game.   Their numbers look good althought their strength of schedule has been quite easy thus far.  The Patriots and Browns are looked at to be rushing teams and that is why this total is so low, but if you actually look at the advanced stats, you will see that the Browns rank dead last in Rush EPA and the Patriots rank 27th.  On the other hand, the Browns rank 3rd in offensive EPA scoring 26.6 points per game while the Patriots rank an average 15th at 20.6 points per game.  The weather is looking good in Cleveland for Sunday and I am taking this over.

Over 43 – 2 stars

Carolina vs LA Rams 10 O/U 40.5

Sometimes you have to get a little dirty before you get clean.   Something is very wrong with this Rams team.  They are just not good after a strong 5 week sample size.   The Shams rank 30th in offensive EPA on a positive turnover differential.  Believe it or not, the Panthers are the better rushing team at 90 yards per game compared to 62 for the Rams.  This is significant considering that this total is lower than 41  The Panthers are a bad team and they lost their quarterback Baker Mayfield to injury last week, but in all seriousness, how much should we downgrade them to PJ Walker?  Can’t be more than three points, and PJ has been with this team for some time now.  When a coach gets fired, it is a play on spot and I think that the Panthers have a shot here to somewhat redeem themselves.   The Rams move the ball through the air and that is the only thing that the Panthers are decent at stopping on defense ranking 21st in drop-back EPA and 8th in success rate.   I think that they can keep this game within 10 points.

Panthers +10 – 2 stars

Rob Vinciletti: Sunday NFL Power System Play

Sunday Card has the NFC East Game of the Year on SNF and our Executive Level TIER 1, There is also a Top Total and an early 5* Side. In MLB we have a Never lost Playoff System with a TOP 6* Rating. NFL Comp play below.

The NFL comp Play is on the Green Bay Packers at 1:00 eastern. The Packers off a stunning loss to the Giants will look to rebound here at home vs the Jets. NY has pulled back to back upsets and pertains to a very rare system that plays against road dogs off a home dog win and prior road win, if they scored more 37 or more points last out and the opponent is off a loss. These 4 teams in this system have all lost and failed to cover and lose by an average 20 points per game. The Jets have failed to cover 6 of 8 off a win and 12 of 15 after scoring 30+ points. They have failed to cover 15 of 21 on the road vs a team with a winning home record. The Packers have failed to cover 12 of 15 off a loss, 10 of 14 vs a winning team and 9 of 12 in October games. They have a top 5 defense in total yards allowed. The Jets took advantage of a banged up Dolphins team using their 3rd string Qb a 7th round pick in Skylar Thompson. Now they get a motivated A-Rog. Could be a long day for gang green. We will BACK THE PACK Today. NFL DFS Week 6 – Let’s Chase Some Winners On DK With DK.

Welcome to a new 2022 Theoddsbreakers.com endeavor. Getting you, our loyal readers some insight into developing NFL DFS Lineups built to perform in Double/Triple-Ups, Head to Head’s and 50/50s. Building a high-floor winner every week in these formats allows your bankroll to grow and take some shots at the High dollar contests that DFS has to offer.

Our record this season is now 3-2 in the high participant Double-Ups. Tom Brady let us down last week ending our 3 week win streak.

I’ll be bringing you my DFS picks for the main Sunday slate of games. If you play on DraftKings, it is a 11-game slate starting at 12:00 Central time. This article will be primarily focused on the DraftKings slate, so if you use Fanduel or any of the other DFS platforms you may have different rosters and values.

Joe Burrow, QB: $6,700. The Ravens had a plan last week against Burrow and executed well. They kept him off balance getting plenty of pressure up front and played soft and deep taking away big plays from Ja’Marr Chase. Burrow struggled early and then reluctantly began to take what they gave him. He should have no such problems this week. New Orleans has struggled to get pressure on opposing QBs without blitzing averaging just 2.0 sacks per game. They will also be without Marshon Lattimore at corner who is #1 in the NFL with 70 man to man routes run against him without allowing a touchdown. Marcus Maye could still play Sunday, but I think he will be out at safety as well. Cincy and Burrow should be able to get big plays down the field in this one and I like Bengals stacks big time.

Jeff Wilson Jr., RB: $6,200. Wilson continued to get primary play in the backfield for the 49ers and went off against a good Panthers rushing defense last week for 120 Yards and a TD on only 17 carries. Tevin Coleman did get 2 Touchdowns of his own so it’s possible he steals a few more carries, but I think Wilson will get 20 touches still in this one. Look for the 49ers to establish a physical presence early in this one as they will look to sustain long drives and keep and injured defense off the field and fresh as much as possible.

Breece Hall, RB: $5,800. The Packers rushing defense has gotten bashed in the last two weeks against the Patriots and Giants even though they knew it was coming. It looks like a weak spot that can be exposed. They are currently allowing 4.8 Yards per attempt. If the Jets can hang around they will continue to pound the rock all game. Hall is averaging 4.9 yards per carry himself so look for the success to continue here. Michael Carter has stolen his goal line carries which is my concern today. If you don’t want to take a chance on the Jets falling behind and having to pass the ball Rhamondre Stevenson is also a nice option here.

Ja’Marr Chase, WR: $7,700. Teams have been doing everything they can to keep him out of the end zone and it has worked well up to this point as he has only found the end-zone twice. For all the reasons I listed above that changes this week in New Orleans. The Saints will be depleted and with this being the homecoming to Louisiana for Chase and Burrow they are gonna want to show up in a big way.

DK Metcalf, WR: $6,800. I think there will be points, points and more points in Seattle Sunday. DK and Geno have seemingly worked out some chemistry as he is averaging 10 targets over the last three weeks. Arizona is allowing 7.1 Yards per passing attempt and is 27th is Pass DVOA. The Cardinals lead the league in tempo and I think they’ll score so Seattle will have to pass to keep up and Metcalf should be in play. If you want to save some money here Tyler Lockett is also a solid pick, but Metcalf has gotten the red zone targets.

Isaiah McKenzie, $5,000. McKenzie is a value play in the Bills/Chiefs slugfest. He didn’t play last week vs the Steelers due to concussion protocols, but had 15 targets in the previous two games and should get most of the slot work against the Chiefs. Gabe Davis had a breakout game against the Steelers last week, but I think the Chiefs will look to roll coverage to Diggs and take away Davis as a deep option so the slot should be the prime spot Josh Allen looks to especially early on Sunday.

Daruis Slayton, $3,800. Well it was only one week, but with Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney still out for the Giants and Wan’dale Moore still questionable Slayton could be the top option again outside. He caught 6 of 7 targets for 79 yards in London against the Packers last week.

Zach Ertz, TE: $4,900. Ertz keeps raking in targets and catches with at least 6 grabs in the last four games. The Seahawks have allowed the most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season and its really not close. Look for a big game for Ertz in this one. Gonna be 78 degrees with no wind in Seattle Sunday as well.

Jacksonville, DST: $3,000. The Jags defense shut out Indy week 1. They sacked Matt Ryan five times. Indy is allowing an NFL worst 4.2 sacks per game. Everyone is saying this is the spot for the Colts to enact revenge and that could be true. But I don’t see this being a shootout. This Colts offense hasn’t topped 20 points yet. I don’t expect it to start now.

Penn State vs Michigan -7 O/U 50

This will be the best big 10 game of the weekend, but seeing Michigan as a 7 point favorite is close to where I have this power rated.  Michigan shows that they are a top 5 offense in efficiency and top 8 in EPA, but that is very hard to trust being that their schedule was so easy the first 4 games or so.  Sagarin has their SOS 111th.  Penn state is the first ranked team that they will be facing.  Penn State’s offense isn’t one to get two excited about either being that they also haven’t beaten a ranked team.  What I like about both of these teams is their defenses.  Each team is holding their opponents to less than 15 points, and both teams rank in the top 14 in defensive EPA.  As far as Tempo is concerned, Penn State ranks 79th and Michigan at 119th so I am not worried about a fast game. The under is 5-1 in Nittany Lions last 6 games after scoring less than 20 points in their previous game.  The under is 6-1 in Wolverines last 7 games overall.

Take the Under 52.5 – 2 stars

Alabama vs Tennessee +8.5 O/U 65

This might be the best game of the week with College Game Day being there and all.  I have to assume that Bryce  Young is playing this game.  I don’t think there is much that we need to say about Alabama except that they are similiar to what they were last year.   Alabama will play some close games, and this is one that the Vols have circled.  Alabama has a nice 1.7 net yards per play advantage over Tennessee, but the Vols rank 5th in EPA margin to Alabama’s 7th.  Tennessee’s weakness is against the pass.  They are down two defensive backs and they give up over 300 yards passing per game.  The good thing for Tennessee is that Alabama has to run the football to set up the pass, and if they can’t do that, they are not the greatest passing team this year at only 8.1 yards per attempt and 54th in pass EPA.  I have Alabama -6 points here on the road.   I am playing Tennessee.

Tennessee +8.5 – 2.5 stars

USC vs Utah -3.5 O/U 65

This night game will be worth staying up for.  It is finally time to see what this USC team is all about.  USC is now the old Oklahoma of the pack 12.   They keep getting by with an easy schedule and they win some gams that they maybe shouldn’t of.  Last week, I thought that Washington State put up a decent fight and this game should have been closer.   USC only outgained the cougs by 53 yards.  I also thought USC should have lost in Corvallis a few weeks back.  Utah has had their hiccups vs the Gators and last week when we were on the Bruins, but they also have a huge home field advantage at home and especially at night.  Both of these teams are ranked quite similar in offense both 12th and 11th in success rate yet Utah I feel has the better defense ranking 46th in success rate to USC’s 102nd.  A big question for USC is Jordan Addison.  He is their best wide receiver who is questionable for this game.  USC is also more banged up in other positions compared to Utah.  I love the fact that Utah played an explosive fast paced team in UCLA last week and I think that helps them prepare for SC this week.

Take UTAH but try and wait for a -3 for 2.5 stars

Massive Saturday Card up with 5 Top Level College Football Plays including The Mountain West Conf. Play of the Year and 2 more MLB Playoff selections. CFB Comp play below.

The CFB Comp Play is on Minnesota at 12 noon eastern. The Gophers fit the nifty 9-0 road favored system below which is winning by an average 19 points per game. The game boasts the #1 and #1 defenses in points allowed. The Difference is Minnesota has a much better offense and is the reason why they are favored at 4-1 despite being non ranked against a 5-1 Illinois team that has failed to cover 9 of 12 at home vs a winning road tea,. Minnesota has covered 6 of 7 after scoring less than 20 and 6 of 7 vs winning teams. In the series Minnesota has covered 6 of 8 here at Illinois. Week 7 CFB Plays(Part 2/2)

I released 3 Best Bets on Wednesday night and am back with 3 more plays for you tonight! Coming off a 4-3-1, +1.25u Week 6, let’s make it back-to-back winning weeks!

*CFB(1u): Kansas/Oklahoma OVER 62.5–Saturday 11 AM CT

Oklahoma is set to welcome back Dillon Gabriel into the fold this week, and that completely changes the dynamics around their offense. It has been a disaster of a 3 weeks in Norman, but let’s not forget what this offense did with Gabriel at the helm earlier in the season. The Sooners put up 49 points against Nebraska and really could’ve named their number in that game; they then followed that up by putting up 550 total yards on a top-10 Kansas State defense. If Gabriel doesn’t get hurt in the 2nd Quarter against TCU, that game plays out much differently. Gabriel now gets to face a Kansas secondary that has been cut like butter all season; the Jayhawks allowed 42 to West Virginia and were handled by TCU’s offense last week. Oklahoma OC Jeff Lebby likes to run with tempo, and with Gabriel back into the fold, this offense has its balance and explosiveness back.

Oklahoma’s defensive ineptitude the past 3 weeks can’t be understated. They allowed 41 points to Kansas State before getting massacred by TCU and Texas these past 2 weeks. The secondary is completely out of sorts, they are allowing opponents to establish the run, and the pass rush has completely vanished. Time and time again, blown assignments lead to chunk plays against this Sooners defense. I know Kansas is without their starting QB Jalon Daniels, but I liked what we saw from backup Jason Bean last week(262 yards, 10.9 Y/A, 4 TD vs 1 INT against TCU). Bean is a 4th year player that is plenty adequate to run this offense. In all reality, Kansas is still led by its rushing attack and offensive line, both of which have been a mainstay even in Kansas’ tougher games this year. I’m not saying there’s no dropoff with Daniels out, but I do think Kansas can get into the upper-20’s here and hold up their end of the bargain.

I would’ve set this total in the upper-60’s, so I see quite a bit of value playing this Over the total in a matchup where both offenses should be able to consistently create explosive plays.

*CFB(1u): Auburn TT UNDER 20.5(-120) @ Ole Miss–Saturday 11 AM CT

In 4 games vs Power 5 Competition this season, Auburn has yet to eclipse the 17-point threshold. While they did have to face Penn State and Georgia in that stretch, I believe this Ole Miss defense is another legitimate test. While QB Robby Ashford is solid with his legs, he is completing just 48% of his passes this season and continually plays Auburn out of drives with his inaccuracy. Perhaps more concerning, however, is Auburn’s inability to create explosive plays on the ground. We knew the QB/WR situation was shaky coming into the season, but for Tank Bigsby and Jacquez Hunter to both be under 4.5 YPC at this point of the season even with a few easy matchups sprinkled in is concerning. Ole Miss’s strength defensively is stopping the run as seen when they held Kentucky RB Chris Rodriguez Jr to just 72 yards on 19 carries. With this being Auburn’s second straight road game and quite possibly Bryan Harsin’s last game, I see no reason why this would be the matchup Auburn finally eclipses the 20-point threshold.

*CFB(1u): Wisconsin/Michigan State UNDER 49.5–Saturday 3 PM CT

In the first game following the firing of Paul Chryst, Wisconsin erupted last week with a 42-7 win against lowly Northwestern. While impressive, I credit that much more to being a “step-up” spot against a lifeless opponent than I do to Wisconsin’s offense being some juggernaut of a unit. Wisconsin features a really good RB in Brealon Allen, and QB Graham Mertz has undoubtedly improved. Even so, this offense has been marred by inconsistency this season. They put up just 14 points against Washington State and 10 points against Illinois despite both those games being at home. They ask Graham Mertz to make a lot of high level throws, making his life harder than it needs to be. Seriously, watch the best coordinators in this sport get their QB easy completion to open receivers in space, and then watch this game tomorrow. Michigan State has had their well publicezed struggles stopping the pass over the past 2 seasons, but they have proven to be more than adequate against the run. I think they’ll contain Allen and make Wisconsin sustain long drives.

Michigan State QB Payton Thorne has regressed this year, but it’d be hard not to when you go from having Kenneth Walker III in your backfield to getting absolutely no help in the running game. Over their last 4 games, the Spartans have run for an average of just 47(!) yards per game; this wouldn’t figure to be the matchup where they get those woes fixed. I think the Thorne-Jayden Reed connection has a chance to be lethal, but Michigan State’s predictability offensively makes this a favorable matchup for this Jim Leonhard defense.

I believe this number gives us a lot of leeway given that each of these teams rank in the bottom 30 in the country in pace. Neither of these offenses is built to light up the scoreboard right now, and there’s good reason to believe each defense steps up in this spot.
