Our first losing night in the NBA all week – we’ve been getting a little spoiled with non-stop wins, so a little regression is expected. Sneaky Sunday is upon us and I have a feeling the dogs will be barking today. Staying away from most games, the lines are sharp, but we found some value. Forgive my brevity in this email but it’s moving day for us and I have very little time this morning. Onto the picks!
- Rockets +5, 1.5 units and ML sprinkle
- The Rockets have looked good recently, they’re fighting hard, Christian Wood is back in the lineup and New Orleans remains without CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram. I’ll comfortably play on Houston here and think they may have more talent than the Pels here. Would not be shocked if they won.
- Grizzlies -13.5, 1.5 units
- OKC without Dort and Giddey, a different team. Memphis should ROLL in this one.
- Mavericks/Celtics over 216, 1 unit
- As gifted as Boston’s defense is, the Mavericks defense can be inconsistent and both Tatum and Luka have been lights out this season. I think this is a surprising over as two talented offenses battle to out-perform the other. Dallas can still win on the perimeter, Boston has a big advantage down low.
- Texas A&M ML (+200), 1 unit
- A&M has looked unstoppable in the SEC tournament. Why not play on them one more time?
- Iowa/Purdue over 149.5, 1 unit
- All these teams do is score and I don’t think either defense can stop the other. This will be a battle of offensive talent.
NCAAM Ivy Finals Play
644 Princeton -3.5 (-120) * vs Yale
The Ivy League Finals are between two teams that split their season series, and we have a system active on this game today with market support. The system tells us to play on the favorite, who was favored in their last game, playing against another good team who was a favorite in their last game, in a postseason conference game when the favorite beat that opponent in their last matchup by at least 4 points, with a line move on them. This system is 16-10-1 on the season and 60% since 2015. I don’t love the number at -3.5 but worth a play for a Princeton team that has played their tougher schedule better and has the Ivy Player of the year in Tosan Evbuomwan.
This system is also active on Purdue -2.5, which the lesser number is more favorable. I like the matchup for Purdue as Iowa matches up poorly with Purdue’s height in my opinion. I do have trust issues with the Boilermakers away from home, but I do think they are gearing up for a run.

Rob Vinciletti: Sunday BIG 10 Championship on Selection Sunday
Sunday Premier League Plays!
We have 6 action packed Premier League matches Sunday, and I can not wait! I am all in on soccer and loving every second of it. Have been having a lot of “push days” lately and so close to having major breakout days. Let’s see what we can draw up for tomorrow and make it happen!
Current Soccer Record: 17-23 -0.87 Unit
Chelsea -1.5 1 unit (-102)
Newcastle has been hot as of late going 6-2-0 in their last 8. But realistically they are taking care of business against middle of the road to low tiered clubs. Now they are going to match up with a quality club in Chelsea, who buried them 3-0 their first go around. Newcastle is fun to root for, but the disparity in talent is too much for me here. Chelsea -1.5 (-102) match prediction: 2-0.
Everton ML 1 unit (+130) and Under 2.25 (-116)
Everton got hammered by Tottenham last Monday in embarrassing fashion; 5-0. With 6 days off one has to think the motivation to perform better this week is very real, especially at home. I am really playing the bounce back angle here and loving Everton in a low scoring affair, 1-0 match prediction.
Norwich ML 1 unit (+455) and Draw 1 unit (+320)
Just simply put too good of value here to not like the draw or Norwich ML.As we know these are two awful teams (Both 0-6 in their last 6 matches) and Leeds is still trying to find their new identity under new management. Leeds at -160 is honestly shocking too me, it pretty much does realistically tell me that is the play (as uncomfortable as it is)….but can you really trust them? Norwich has been losing, but they have been hanging around in matches and fighting to keep them close; some even against quality competition. More upside for me in this match to bet the value two ways.
Other Plays I am on:
SOU/WAT OVER 2.75 1 unit (+104)
WHU ML 1 unit (+140)
ARS/LEI UNDER 3 1 unit (-116)

*CBB(1u): SMU +4.5(-110) vs Memphis–4 PM CT
SMU beat Memphis twice during the regular season, and neither game was particularly close. While many people subscribe to the theory that “It’s impossible to beat the same team 3 times”, I don’t agree with that blanket statement. Memphis is able to blow much of the American Conference away with their sheer talent, but in matchups like this against a quality opponent, they have multiple things working against them. The Tigers turn the ball over 16.3 times per game, one of the worst marks in the country. Additionally, the Tigers shoot less than 70% from the free-throw line, something that always proves to be a critical factor at this point in the season. Aside from that, these teams match up very evenly, although SMU has a swiss-army knife with Kendric Davis(19.5 PPG, 37.3% 3PT) at their disposal. I make this line Memphis -2.5, and given SMU plays a cleaner brand of basketball and does the little things right down the stretch, I’m inclined to back the ‘Stangs today catching a few too many points.

*CBB(1u): Saint Louis +3(-110) vs Davidson–Noon PM CT
Saint Louis won an extremely intense game against St Bonaventure yesterday, and they will arguably get a more favorable matchup here. I know that Davidson is 26-5 and the #1 seed in this tournament, but the Wildcats have their flaws. Davidson ranks just 167th in defensive efficiency, which bodes horribly facing a Saint Louis offense that shoots the 3 ball well and can win down low. Saint Louis also averages 4.5 more rebounds/game than Davidson, a clear sign that the Billikens are the more physical team. Davidson is very efficiency offensively themselves, but their slow pace makes them a lot less dangerous than you would think. The Billikens have given up just 107 points over the 1st 2 games in this tournament and aren’t going to be thrown any curveballs by this Davidson offense. I really think this is the spot Davidson’s poor defense comes back to bite them; we’re staying on the SLU train today!
*CBB(1u): Tulane +13(-110) vs Houston–2 PM CT
I understand that it is hard to play against a team like Houston, but on a neutral floor in the postseason, this is just far too many points. Tulane is a well-coached team that does everything you’re looking for when backing a ‘dog like this; the Green Wave shoot 36.7% from 3-point range, 76% from the free-throw line, and average just 10.5 turnovers/game. Houston is a well-oiled machine, but given their slow pace, they aren’t inherently built to blow teams out. The one thing that worries me in this game is the rebounding disparity, as Houston averages over 7 more rebounds/game than Tulane. However, that matchup is baked into the line. I can trust Tulane to not beat themselves and hang around on the offensive end, so I’ll grab the 13 points in what will be no cake walk for Houston.
