College Football Week 11 Free Plays – Sports Betting

Illinois vs Michigan State -15 O/U 40

I wasn’t in love with this line at 11.5 but this steam pushed it over the top.  Now we know that history tells us that Illinois can easily get blown out in these situations but this team has really gained confidence and I am going to back them here.   Michigan State should not be laying over 2 TDs to most FBS teams.   Illinois should be motivated here and they are still running high off the Wisconsin and Purdue Wins.   Michigan State has a HUGE look ahead to Michigan next week.   I think this could be an upset in the making.

Illinois +15 – 2.5 star premium shared and sprinkle ML

South Alabama vs Texas State -7 O/U 41.5

I had to throw this ugly one out at you.   Both of these teams have net negative yards per play.  South Alabama has a -1.4 and Texas State a -1.   I only have this spread from power ratings a -8.5 but there is a situation that I like here.   South Alabama is now out of bowl contention with 7 losses and Texas State thinks that they are still in it with 6 losses.  If you look on Sagarin he has the point spread at 9 but the harder schedule goes to Texas State.  I think with their home field advantage and motivation that this should warrant a small play.

Texas State -7 – 1.5 star premium shared play

Iowa State vs Oklahoma -13.5 O/U 68

The under is 7-1 since Oct 21st 2017 when Iowa State is a road dog.   The under is 15-4-2 since November 28th 2015 when Iowa State is on the road.   See what I am getting at here?   Oklahoma may have a powerful offense ranking number 1 at 9.5 yards per play and 49 points per game but they have yet to play a defense with a pulse.   Matt Campbell from Iowa State knows how to play this team and I think this game should set up well for them on defense.  Iowa State only allows 4.88 yards per play and 23 points per game.  In the Big 12, that is saying something.   If you can forget about the Kansas State game, then Oklahoma themselves has allowed only 23 points per game and 5.1 yards per play themselves.   Oklahoma seems like a fast paced offense but the truth is that they rank dead last 130th at 62.6 plays per game.  They happen to just be very efficient but now they will be tested on offense against a pretty good D.  Iowa State doesn’t exactly play fast either ranking 82nd in plays per game.   I can see Jaylen Hurts having some issues getting the ball downfield here against a stout defense and I can also see Oklahoma’s defense that is very experienced want a huge bounce back from last game’s embarrassment.  Take the under.

NFL Week 9 Free Plays – Sportsbetting

Houston vs Jacksonville +1.5 O/U  46.5

Here is a situation where both teams are playing in a foriegn place and that usually favors the defense.   It is like playing 2 away games here and that usually disrupts the offense.   This game is in London at Wembly Stadium and the 7:30 AM kickoff time certainly doesn’t help.   Now both of these teams rank somewhere in the middle for points per game, points against but neither team does well on the ground which could cause some 3 and outs.   2 things that I like about Jacksonville in this situation is that They have been to London every year for the last 6 years and their pass defense ranks 14th while Houston’s ranks 28th.  Jacksonville also ranks 3rd in Sacks while Houston Ranks 19th.  Now that they lost JJ Watt I have to think it may be game over for getting sacks for the Texans.   This game earlier this year only went to 25 points.   I am going to keep it simple and bet Jacksonville +1.5 and the Under

Jacksonville +1.5 – 2 star premium shared and under 46.5 – 2 star premium shared

NY Jets vs Miami +3 O/U 41.5

Ok, I gave this out at +5.5 but still like it because I have this game at Pickem.   The Jets pretty much through up the white surrender flag when they traded Leonard Williams as well as tried to trade Laveon Bell, Jamal Adams and Robbie Anderson.   Sam Darnold has a sprained thumb so there’s that.  CJ Mosley is also out for 6 weeks or so.   I do not see any motivation here for the Jets to even try and Adam Gase is a poor coach when it comes to losing teams.   The Dolphins know that this is their last opportunity to win a game this year because the rest of the schedule is very difficult.   I have to take the fish here and I think that Fitzmagic will protect the ball do the job this one time.

Miami +3 – 2 star premium and sprinkle

Tampa Bay vs Seattle -6.5 – O/U 51.5

Yes I know, I know it is very ugly to bet on Jameis Winston but we all know we were on the right side last week and still lost.   Seattle has been kicking some major ass as we have been seeing but I really do not like how they let a Matt Schaub led Falcons team back into the game last week.   Seattle’s defense is very bad giving up 25 points per game and they rank 30th in giving up 6.2 yards per play.   Seattle is also 0-4 ATS at home this year so that advantage has dwindled.   Tampa bay can at least exploit the Seahawks defensive backs as they rank 27th in giving up 273 yardss per game in the air.  Garbage time maybe open here too.   Take the Bucks

Tampa Bay Bucks +6.5 – 2 star premium shared

College Football Week 10 Free Plays – Sports Betting

SMU vs Memphis -5.5 O/U 70.5

Straight up poppin bottles.   This game should be high flying.  SMU averages 504 yards per game at a very efficient 11.4 yards per play.   Memphis isn’t too shabby either at 456 yards per game and 12.2 yards per point.  This game may decide who wins the AAC west!  Memphis definitley wins the yards per play argument who is a net .7 yards per play better than SMU but the Mustangs have had the harder schedule and Memphis hasn’t faced a passing offense as strong as this one with opponents like Navy, Louisiana Monroe, Tulane and South Alabama.   I think when they lost to Temple they were exposed a bit.   Memphis has always relied hard on their run game and this year they are a little short at 5 yards per rush while SMU his holding opponents to 3.3 yards per rush.    How do you not love the Job that Texas transfer Shane Buechele has done for this team?  He came in with a chip on his shoulder and is showing the part.   I think if SMU happens to be straight up poppin bottles this game, they can actually win it.

SMU +5.5 – 2 star premium shared

Miami vs Florida State -4 O/U 47.5

This game is straight forward for me.   Florida State averages 77 plays per game which is top 15% in pace.  They also have a good offense at 5.6 yards per play and averaging 29 points per game.  Their defense is a bit average giving up 29 points per game as well in a weak conference.   Miami has been decent on offense themselves averaging 27 points per game and 5.9 yards per play but their defense is pretty sporadic giving up a bunch of points to Virginia Tech and Georgia tech yet holding teams like Virginia and Pittsburgh under 13.   My power ratings has Florida State by about 3 and the Algorithm has it at 3.5 but what the numbers are telling me is that this total should go over the total.  This is a rivalry game and when that happens you see more creativity and risks being taken by both teams.   I love the fact that Florida State being at home should dictate the pace of this game and Miami will have to throw the ball if they expect to keep up.

Over 47.5 – 2 star premium shared

UAB vs Tennessee -12 O/U 47.5

This is my best free play.  Tennessee has really been improving since the start of this season and it really shows.   SEC talent sometimes takes a little time to gel and it all is coming to fruition for this Vols team.   Over the last 3 games, Tennessee has beaten Mississippi State by 10, kept up with Alabama minus a huge 14 point swing turnover, and beat South Carolina by 20 points.   Now looking at UAB at 6-1, one would think that they should almost be favored in this game but as Lee Corso says, NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND.  UAB is FAKE NEWS this year and their schedule shows it.   Their schedule ranks 189th which is lower than anybody in the FBS.   The teams they have played include Akron, South Alabama, Rice, Alabama State, UTSA, Old Dominion and lost to Western Kentucky.  NOT 1 TEAM IN THE TOP 100!!!   Tennessee’s schedule ranks 18th in the nation.   Their QB Jarrett Guarantano is probable to play as well.  I have this game 14.5 point minimum.

Tennessee -12 – 4 star best bet premium shared
