NFL Preseason Week 3 Premium Shared Play

I do not do a lot of teasers in the preseason but I think these teams warrant it. Week 3 is usually a dress rehearsal for the upcoming season so we should see some starters. Let’s start with the Bears vs the Colts. Both teams are 0-2 this year meaning that both coaches could be semi motivated to win this game. Nobody wants to go 0-4 int he preseason if they can somewhat help that. Both coaches are in their second year so there isn’t a lot to go by but we can see that Nagy and Reich so far doesn’t seem to care much for the preseason. Reich also said that he won’t be playing his starters in game 3. Tease the bears past the +7. Looking at Mike Zimmer, he cares about winning preseason games almost as much as Jim Harbaugh being a whopping 19-4. They play the lowley cardinals at home. Teas them down from -7 to -1.

This is just a simple mismatch of talent where Alabama just has to much talent for a duke team that returns only 4 offensive starters and lost their starting QB of last year to the NFL draft (Daniel Jones, 1st pick 6). Duke does return 8 starters on defense, but they will have a major task on their hands when it comes to slowing down Tua and what is considered one of the best WR cores in college football. We are taking the 1H point spread because we know from history that Nick Saban has a habit of jumping out to a big lead and then taking his foot off the gas in the 2H.
UNC vs South Carolina
South Carolina -7.5 2U
This is another talent gap mismatch game where you have a South Carolina team that returns 7 starters on offense including experienced QB Jake Bently. The offense does lose Deebo Samuel to the NFL, but they still have a good WR core and have 3 starters returning on a good offensive line. Defense also returns 7 starts which should cause problems for true freshman Sam Howell. The tar heels do return 14 total starters and should be improved compared to last year team, but this could be one Will Muschamp most talented teams.

Houston Astros at Oakland Athletics
The Houston Astros head out west to Oakland to take on the A’s. They have been struggling lately dropping their last 2 games. Oakland won their last one and sit 9.5 games behind the Astros in the division.
Aaron Sanchez has struggled pretty much all season. He owns a 2-8 record with a 6.41 ERA on the road. With that being said, he’s allowed 1 run in each of his last 2 starts against Oakland.
Mike Fiers has faired very well at home going 7-2 with a 2.54 ERA. He’s given up only 2 runs in each of his last 2 starts against Houston.
I like the spot here with how much baseball Houston has played lately as well. They seem a bit tired on this long road trip.
